Bertha,
so called as she was the first and biggest kitten in the litter. She
was nicknamed Big Bertha and it stuck. This name now does not
suit her as she is a dainty girl and not the big fatty at all. We knew
as soon as she was born that she would be staying at home with us, she
is definitely a mummy’s girl.
We
are very proud of our home bred Bicolor Siamese girl who has wowed
quite a few judges along the way with both GCCF and TICA registries.
She
has been awarded Best In Show Bicolor at the Seal Point Siamese Show in
February 2008 and Best In Show Bicolor at the Northern Siamese Cat
Society Show 2008. We do tend to show her more with TICA as this
type of judging suits her temperament the best.

Bertha
became a TICA Supreme Grand Champion by the tender age of 11 months and
was standing No1 in Europe and No.2 in the world until she came off the
show bench for her midwifery duties!
Watch this space to see how she does with the remainder of the season.

Bertha visited Austria and competed with four of the five top placed cats in Northern Europe along with many other European cats. She proved once again that she can compete with the very best and was made Overall Best In Show for the weekend! We are so very proud of our beautiful girl who showed herself to perfection.
Update on Bertha's TICA show season.
We are delighted to announce that after a very busy TICA show season we have had confirmation that Bertha has gained a new title! Bertha has won the new and coveted title of International Winner to add to her existing title Supreme Grand Champion! Bertha gained this title against over three thousand cats of all breeds from all over the world including one thousand cats within her own region. We are so very proud of our special girl, what an achievement!
